The 3rd Canadian Computational Chemistry Conference will take place July 19 - 23, 1997 in Edmonton, Alberta.

The conference is held every three years and is devoted to the practical and applied aspects of computational chemistry. The conference will consist of invited lectures and of poster presentations, planned so as to allow ample time for discussions. The previous conferences in this series were held in Saskatoon (1989), Sherbrooke (1991), and Kingston (1994).

The Conference will be held in the Timms Centre for the Arts, located at the edge of the Campus of the University of Alberta. The Conference site may be located with the help of the Interactive Campus Map: Timms Centre is marked as Building 110, in square F7. Additional information is available: a map showing the location of the University of Alberta in Edmonton and Canada, a detailed map of Edmonton showing how to get to the University of Alberta, as well as detailed information about the City of Edmonton.

Weather

July is one of the nicest months in Edmonton, as the snow from the previous winter melted, and the snow from the next one has not fallen yet. Before arriving to Edmonton, you may want to know the current weather conditions, as well as a four-day weather forecast. You may get acquainted with Edmonton by looking at the view of downtown Edmonton and the river valley, updated approximately every 15 minutes.
